My usual walk for the paper on Sunday was punctuated by several fragrant plants which made the walk that much more enjoyable. The perfume of the wisteria was what first alerted me to its presence as it was growing almost unnoticed amongst some pine branches, until it flowered. The delicate perfume of this gardenia grown as a hedge is always appreciated. The melaleuca was across a road and halfway inside a yard but the delicious scent of honey (that's what it always reminds me of anyway) was very noticeable. Finally, a few Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow shrubs infused the air with even more fragrance.
For someone who hates perfume, I must say I really enjoyed these aromas.
