I had always thought this beautiful plant was just another colour in the Justicia family which includes the beautiful Golden Candle, a very similar but apparently quite different plant. This is a tropical plant called Megaskepasma erythrochlamys Lindau or Brazilian Red Cloak. Wearing this cloak in the tropics would be eye catching.
