These sweet little guys are Plumed Whistling Ducks, although I used to call them Finger Ducks because those feathers look like fingers. I spotted them on my way to work the other day and snuck up on them on my way home. Looks like they're reluctant to get into the cold water doesn't it? "I'll get in if you do." "OK, but only if you go first." "No, you go first!"
