"WHAT'S THIS?" WEDNESDAY XI - OLD FASHIONED BEAUTY

This plant reminds me of my childhood because our grandparents had a big shrub or two in their garden.  I love the smell of the fleshy leaves and would crush them up for a bit of a 'fix'.  Oo-ah! Does that mean I was a child druggie?  I'll have to ask Mum if she remembers the name of it.
[Edit 2021: Finally found out what it's called: Tetradenia Riparia formerly Iboza riparia also called nutmeg bush, ginger bush or musk bush because of the aroma]
