Caught out on the town were these beauties: Ixora, Calliandra and 2 unidentified friends. Maybe you know their names?? Could they be cheerleaders off to the football with their pom poms? Seriously though, I love Ixora and this one is a glorious colour, a bit different to the usual orange or yellows and the pom pom flower is such a great source of food for the parrots. The last one grows in my yard and the buds remind me of bird beaks. I always thought it was called japonica but from what I've read, apparently not. I'll continue to enjoy my bird beak tree though.
