Pam and I adore this gorgeous thing which grows in her garden and was transplanted years ago from our grandfather's chook pen. It's a crocus but unsure which "flavour" it is. Not the saffron yeilding one I'm sure, which is Crocus sativus, but Pam's is definitely a sight sensation if not a tasty one.
