Whilst chopping my way through the jungle that is my back yard at the moment, I came across these yellow waxy flowers growing from the base of a nuisance 'palm'. The palm came in a pot. Oh! that I had left it in the pot. But no, I freed it and now it's taken over, spreading through the garden like wild fire. The 'palm' just has spear-like leaves but no trunk and these flowers. Must keep watch and see if they fruit. Anyone know the name?
