HE'S GOT A MOUTH ON HIM...

 The cage said "Tawny Frogmouth" but I must say the photos I've found online don't really match. This guy has quite different feathers.  He was on display at the Qld Garden Expo and as you can see below, loved having the back of his neck scratched to the point that it was rare for him to have his head up.  Whatever he is, he was lovely. I had one on my front step one night as I was leaving for work which gave me a start. They are often on the road and can get so focussed on their prey they don't see cars coming.
