MAROOCHY WETLANDS WALK

 Although I'm familiar with the mangrove, I have to admit I had never thought about them having flowers so was surprised to see some in flower during a walk through the Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary recently.

 The boardwalk is quite wide and makes for a comfortable walk to the river. No fear of soggy shoes or wet pant legs, unless you fall in.

At the end of the walk you come to a large pontoon (NO FISHING thank you) and you get a great view of the river.  This photo was taken around sunset when the water was almost mirror-like.
