EARLY MORNING CACTUS DELIGHT...

Earlier this year, I posted about a huge flowering cactus I saw on my way to work one night, here.  Well, it's in flower again and because I was driving past early (6am), I was able to stop and get some better shots with plenty of light before the flowers closed up.
As you can see, the bees love these gorgeous flowers too.
Not exactly mass flowering at the moment, but as the previous post was in January, I'm hoping the flowers will continue to multiply.
These three flowers were the only ones within reach of my lens, without trespassing. The next morning, they were spent with only one or two flowers to be seen.
This shot demonstrates the size of the plant (and the paucity of buds so far).

    1. Hi Ian, thanks for visiting and your kind words. I can't say I noticed any perfume. Forgot to take notice this time, last time during the night I could discern a scent but wasn't sure if it was this or something else in the garden behind the fence. I'll be going to work at 11p soon so will stop again and take particular note.
