HONEY EATERS BATHING AND HANGING OUT...

Yes, more birds, sorry!  I am away in Victoria for a week from Saturday so hopefully, will bring back some different subjects for your enjoyment. In the meantime, I have been enjoying watching some of my feathered friends bathing in my home made birdbath. This little sweetie is a Lewin's Honeyeater.
He flapped around quite a bit in the bath, which I must remember to fill up before I go. I've yet to work out how to speed up the shutter speed on my camera so the rest of the bathing was quite blurred.
Another blue-faced honeyeater, just hanging around.  They are nesting in that palm  again I think and are often seen scoping out the area before flying off to find some food (or maybe nesting material).

  1. I must put up another bird bath here. Haven't had one in years and I so love watching them frolicking. Nice shots Sandy. x
