...WALK INTO MY PARLOUR...

Reminded of the poem by Mary Howitt, I felt a bit like a fly being lured to my death when I stopped to take a photo of this very unusual gate in Daylesford, country Victoria the other day.  It would be a popular place during Halloween I'm sure.
The cottage is named Musk Cottage, which is not very clear due to the glaring heat in the middle of the day and my less than expert ability at the camera controls while rushing because my driver had parked a bit precariously when I yelled "Stop!".

LOVE GERBERAS

A friend presented me with a bouquet of gerberas for my birthday and I thought, because I love them, they would make an excellent subject for Valentine's Day, by including a heart shaped seed I found. Not that I acknowledge the day, as such, but you've gotta love gerberas. Their colours are so varied nowadays.

HEART OF STONE

A bit of whimsy for you today.  I have a habit of picking up interesting stones I see, whether that's at the beach, in the garden or on my walks.  This damaged, little stone heart was found at the beach but is recovering in my garden now.
